Staff Training
You are only as good as your staff, and unsure, untrained staff can be your greatest liability.

Do you have an internal training matrix? Who trains your staff? Who ensures that the person/people are training your staff the way you want them trained?
It is often said that many employers are open to employing trainees with very little to no experience in Block Management so that they can mould the employee to manage their portfolio in a way that fits the company's model. But do you have anyone monitoring a trainees progress? Are you sure that training is being achieved in accordance with your model?

Referring initially to new employees, oftentimes we find that, for example, a Property Manager, or a set of Property Managers, is/are being tasked with training incoming Assistants/Adminsitrators.
On the face of things, this sounds like an obvious and sensible arrangement; but who trained the Property Manager training the new member of staff? Were they trained via your own training matrix, or are they now training your staff on the back of their previous employer's matrix? Is that Property Manager receiving continued training via your own training matrix?

Continued, on-brand training is imperative for the surety and confidence of your staff. Training should be regular and topical, and your matrix to continuously improve your staff's ability to handle their often sizeable workload, as well as enriching them with new, useful, topical and interesting knowledge should be well-thought and regularly improved.
